I’ll say it …’til you believe it

Hello Beautiful

What is beautiful ? Is it the color of the sky when Francis Scott Key wrote the Star Spangled Banner? Is it a soldier returning home from a long tour of duty? Is it when you’re coming home from a long grueling day of work? What about the birth of a baby? Is beautiful the way a person appeal to you ? Is it the long anticipated doctor coming out of surgery saying to a family that the tumor was successfully removed. Is beautiful watching a child recover from a terminal illness when the medical report didn’t support that outcome. Miracles happen everyday, continue to trust God. Was beautiful that moment when President and Mrs Obama stood up for the change they often envisioned. Beautiful is pleasing to the senses, beautiful is attractive , handsome and alluring. Alluring is powerful and mysteriously attractive or fascinating; such as she had an alluring smile.

Hola Bella ! (Spanish)

Psalm 139:14 —(Contemporary English Version )- and I will praise you because of the wonderful way you created me. Everything you do is marvelous. Of this I have no doubt. What do you view as beautiful? In the above scripture we are reminded that our Heavenly Father made us unique and wonderful. No matter your position in life, there is still something beautiful in you and about you. I recall the beautiful novel written by Nathaniel Hawthorne “The Scarlet Letter”. Take notice that I said beautiful novel, which tells the story of a young lady’s affair and how she tried desperately to re-invent her life and gain dignity. During the early to mid 1640’s, the lady in question was viewed as ugly and unworthy to be accepted into society. The people of her community punished her for conceiving a child out of wedlock. She wore a (red) Scarlet “A”garments to represent her shameful ness which the town people required of her. Perhaps, during your lifetime you’ve made unpopular choices, hung around the wrong crew, said some bad words to someone, and have immeasurable faults and later regretted them, however , did society reduce you to public shaming? In spite of what you’ve done, you still have something beautiful about you. It shouldn’t matter what people call you, it’s only what you answer to. Who do you say you are , I’ll start by saying …hello beautiful. I’ll say it , til you believe it. Start counting your blessings and name them one by one.

Bonjour belle (French)

Yes, I’m talking to you, what’s your story? Were you misguided as a child, taken advantage of as a teenager by a trusting adult, perhaps you were given a one-way ticket to another country, not knowing if you’ll ever see any familiar faces. maybe you were imprisoned for a small crime to support your children. Perhaps you were born into a privileged family but you are still trying to discover your place in the world and how you fit into that world. The list can be endless. Again, whatever you’ve faced and endured or enduring, there’s still a glimpse of “beautiful” in you. Even if its the size of a mustard seed, know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Matthew13:31-32, (KJV) Jesus said a mustard seed is smaller than all other seeds.

Begin saying and believing how fearfully and wonderfully you are made. Keep saying it til you believe it. The word “you” is so important because its personal. Our Heavenly Father know you; you may hide your identity from family and friends , but God…who created you has your true identity .

Ciao bello ( Italian )

As you hopefully allow the words on this page to minister to you, hold on to your faith. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Whatever language it is spoken , its all about you, now that’s GOOD NEWS. I challenge you today and all the days that follow to declare for yourself this scripture. Get the planner (slay your goals), to be encouraged and start writing down your goals, achievements and expectations. Here are some beautiful thoughts to help guide your path: I AM fearless I AM positive. I AM gifted and talented. I AM love. I AM somebody I AM beautiful ! When faced with a situation similar to the lady in the Scarlet Letter or whatever has happened in your life, don’t allow public scrutiny consume who you are and WHOM you belong. You are beautiful in your own way. Psalm 139:14 New American Standard Bible – I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works, And my soul know it very well. Speak your truths over your life, because you never know who is emulating or mirroring your “ beautifulness “

New Living Translation – Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex. Your workmanship is marvelous- how well I know it .
